• Question: if you got shot with a laser would it hurt a lot.

      It would depend on the type of laser. If you used a high-energy and very focused laser, so, one designed for cutting things, then yes, it would probably hurt quite a lot. But, if you used a laser designed for more general use, like hair-removal for example, then it would probably still hurt (or be uncomfortable) but it wouldn’t hurt as much. With the sort of lasers that I use, which are designed for removing small amounts of material from an object, it would definitely hurt if you got in the way of the beam, but we have lots of safety features which mean you cannot get hit.

      yes like Becki said it depends on the energy, you can shine a laser pen on your arm and it is fine, the type of lasers used to remove tattoos or hair might hurt without the area being numbed first
