Question: what happens if a green laser I shined into your eye and damages your retina? with the money would you be able to develop a way of not damaging the retina ?
I don’t know. but shining a laser into someone’s eyes is a really bad thing to do. I don’t know enough about how the eye works to know if the damage could be repaired…
Firstly it depends on the power of the laser beam. If it is below a certain level, then you are supposed to be able to blink fast enough to prevent damage. For higher powers you run the risk of damaging yoour eyesight – permanently! Probably starting with the part of the eye responsible for detailed vision (the fovea) – not a good idea. Oh a fact for you, for a given power a green laser will appear much brighter than a red laser……
