I’m not sure, I think it is a good theory and it would be very interesting to know how the Universes are connected and if we could communicate, but I don’t think there is enough evidence for me to believe in it yet

Being a fan of Dr who and Star Trek and stuff, I really like the idea of the multiverse theory. I like the way that it gives a possible answer to what existed before the Big Bang, but I agree with Charlotte, and I think I need more proof before I’m ready to believe it 🙂

It would be hard to think of an infinite number of universes with different possibilities occuring in all of them – I can’t imagine it really, though it does make for good science fiction.

      Hi @aduckcalledkeith…nice tag!

I am a real sci-fi fiction nut, so I would love it to be true.

I am also a fan. I think this is one of those areas where sci-fi has kind of given the wrong impression though. There are lots of different variations but it pretty much started with a quantum physicist called Everett, who came to the many worlds theory through his interpretation of quantum mechanics.

The idea isn’t actually very strange in the world of quantum mechanics, but it doesn’t mean it is like the films where each time we make a decision we split off into two new universes that we might be able to hop between worlds somehow.
