Well I am finishing my PhD now, so next year I will work as a post doctoral researcher and then hopefully I will get a permanent position in a university as a lecturer in a few years. I would also be interested in working in research in development in a company instead of in university but definitely still a science job!

I plan to work in Taiwan in the future but that is still a few years away, I don’t know exactly what my job will be, but something related to the science I am doing now. Exactly what I end up doing depends on how good my Chinese is by then.

I have another 18 months on this contract and then I’m hoping to get a lectureship somewhere after that, but I plan to stay on the same career path.
