Question: Are people born left/right handed or do they just learn to use a certain hand?

I think maybe the brain has a preference (you sometimes see children choosing to use one hand over the other) but you can train yourself to use your other hand. When my dad was little the teacher used to make everyone in his class use their right hand, so all the pupils at his school were right-handed. When I was little I thought it would be cool to be ambidextrous (to use both hands) and so I taught myself to write with my left hand (I’m still not very good at it though).
