• Question: Are your lips made out of skin?

      Yes, a specialised type of skin which is full of nerve endings and quite thin – a human’s skin is the biggest organ you have by the way!

      Yes but it is really thin and that is why you can see the red colour of your blood vessels through it. Also lips don’t sweat like skin (that would be weird!) and that’s why they get chapped easily
