• Question: can the sugar molecules also be used to cure malnutrition in starving countries?

      sadly not, our sugars are complicated and your body couldn’t break them down to provide energy like we do with normal sugar, they could even be slightly toxic! Plus it takes us ages to make them so the price would be really high if we were going to sell them, probably more than £1000 for 1 gram! regular sugar is about £1 for 1000 grams so there is quite a difference
