      Yes, I love my job. Everyday is something different. I do a bit of everything really. I think I would get bored if I had to do the same thing all the time. Sometimes I get to go on excavation, sometimes I work in the lab, sometimes I get to take our kit into the field and measure materials in-situ. For example, I used the pXRF (portable X-ray fluorescence spectrometer) to measure the chemical composition of panes of glass in a stained glass window. I could then identify which panels were genuine and which were later reproductions. I also get to teach and help students with their project work.

      yes I do, I do a lot of lab work but I keep myself busy and work on a few different things at once so I don’t get bored, and we have some great laughs in my lab group 🙂
