I started in my new role only recently – May 1st this year – was previously working in radiotherapy physics, now in radiation protection. Its really good – interesting work and full of situations which require thought and a good knowledge of the science behind it. Work colleagues are good too which helps a lot!
I love it! A lot of experiments don’t go to plan but we are learning new things all the time, hopefully my PhD will come up with some interesting results that other scientists can build on! Plus like Colin I have great people to work with 🙂
This is the BEST job in the world. I love my work. There are always things people want to change about their work, but that’s real life, I’m afraid. All in all, this is the best job for me.
I love my job. For me, everyday is different, one minute I’m teaching, the next I’m identifying <1mm fragments of glass within soil samples. I work with lots of different people and materials, in lots of different environments. Each new task has its own set of challenges, so I'm always on my toes 🙂 . I really enjoy the variety that comes with my job. I would get bored very quickly if I had to do the same thing everyday. For me life is an adventure and I love learning new and interesting things.
Like everyone else I love what I do. It’s definitely not easy sometimes but if I did anything else I wouldn’t feel as satisfied as I do. I love the fact that I work on so many different things in so many different places, it keeps me from getting bored!
