• Question: Is it difficult to be a scientist ?

      It can be. I found it hard (and still do) if I have to learn a new scientific concept or idea. But for me, I think it is because I didn’t do science at A-level, so as well as learning the new method, I also have to learn the basic ideas which the method is based on. But, once you know the principles, the hardest thing is trying to understand what your results mean, but I find that bit fun (as well as challenging).
