I think that all the sciences are important. I use chemistry and physics the most in my job (mainly chemistry) but if I ever get asked to work on biological materials, such as the residues in an ancient pot or something, then I would talk to the biologists and get them to help 🙂

I’d say all equally, and in my job – I work in radiation protection within the healthcare sector – I use all three. There is quite a lot of crossover so a knowledge of all of them is definitely a benefit!

The are all important, I love chemistry but physics and biology are really useful too. I would say english and maths are the most important as scientists couldn’t do any work without those 🙂

      hi @demibrookfield,
I would really recommend doing all three if you can…each one supports the other, and maths supports physics a lot too. (In a way, it makes doing the homework easier…shhh!)

I agree, all important. A lot of people consider that last century was the century of physics (with so many discoveries about how the universe works and what is is made of), but this century will be the century of biology and biotechnology. There are so many things we have learned from physics and chemistry that we can now use to advance biology and medicine so much faster than in the past. I really love how the sciences work together.

But I am a physicist so …. physics is the best!
