• Question: What advances will the higs boson lead to?

      I don’t think the higgs boson will lead to lots of technological advances yet (if ever), finding it is more of a discovery for understanding how our world works and why things have mass.

      I have no idea lol. I think it will be used to prove/disprove a lot of scientific theories and models but in the future, who knows…

      It will lead to a better understanding of how matter interacts, why they have mass and gravitational attraction.

      Hi @aagarwal
      If we understand particle structure better then we can use that knowledge to understand all the small stuff. Perhaps it could eventually lead to better transplant outcomes by controlling the bodies responses to a foreign body?
