I’ve always wanted to be an archaeologist, but after uni, I found that a lot of people could do my job, so I decided to go back to uni to retrain and learn some science. So now, I can work with archaeological materials as well and it’s really good fun 🙂

I guess I always liked science so probably yes. My main ambition to be a spaceman had to be abandoned though (I’ve no head for heights).

When I was at primary school I wanted to be a vet then a historian, I settled on chemistry when I was 11 or 12 though and have stuck with it since then!

      Hi @jayp
My friends thought I would be a brain surgeon, but I just wanted to be a doctor, however I think I am better being a biomedical scientist.
