If it is properly sealed and hasn’t been opened, it should be ok to drink. But it may taste, smell or look funny. The date on the bottle (in terms of water) is more an indication of the quality. So, the date means that it will taste normal before the expiry date, but may taste (or smell or look) funny after the date. But it should still be safe. This only applies to bottled water though, other food and drink has different preservatives in which can go off after the expiry date.
