• Question: what is a good way to revise for science

      I used to make lots of posters and flash cards, science can involve learning a lot of facts so you need to repeat them to yourself a lot of times by re-writing them, also practice questions especially any maths ones you need to know

      I always broke the subject down into little sections, then revised that small section until I knew it. Then I would revise a completely different section (to keep things interesting) and once I knew that, I’d practise both (just to double check I’d remembered things). Then I’d do another section…and keep building up like that. But, I would always go back and double check I still knew the other bits in between each section. I also tried to have a go as much as possible, so either do practice problems or repeat an experiment if possible. Anything to help cement info into my head… Oh and a good night’s sleep, because your brain can process quite a lot of info while you sleep…
