Chemistry was always the hardest, physics is a bit like maths really, but biology was my overall favourite because it was easier to see the results to all our practical tests.

I guess for me Physics although I found all the sciences interesting at school. Where I work now I am mainly involved in physics but there is a lot of biology and some chemistry too – so I retain an interest in quite a few areas of science!

I would have to say chemistry because it can be used in so many different ways to help in lots of different subjects. For example, in archaeology you can use chemistry to look at inorganic materials (like I do) or organic materials (such as what an ancient bottle contained or what type of food was cooked in a certain bowl). But chemistry is also used in geology and other geo-science subjects.

But I just love learning new things and I’m really lucky because sometimes I get to use physics and engineering as well. 🙂

It has to be chemistry as I am a chemist 🙂 and it can be used to understand biology and geoscience like Becki says, and to make everyday things like medicine, cosmetics, food etc

For me Physics, because there is very little that can’t be explained by breaking the problem down the the most basic level which is what physics is all about. I really think that for me physics just keeps getting better and better, the deeper into the subject you get the more interesting and more rewarding it becomes.
