• Question: What made you interested in the different sugars?

      My boss and other people in my research group have been working on these sugars for about 10 years now, we have come a long way in being able to make them more easily and faster. I joined the group for my phd project, I think the chemistry of sugars attracted me because lots of chemists think it is really hard to do (it can be!) so not many people do it, but it is really important research. Now for my project we are hoping to do something new with the sugars that no one else has done before….wish us luck!
