Hi, Probably Michael Faraday, who did a lot of work to do with electromagnetism. What do we have in common, well I guess a keen interest in how things work and interact!

Probably marie curie, she was very dedicated to her work despite people not fully accepting her as she was one of the first women in academic science. I am not sure what we have in common though except she was married to a chemist too and me and my boyfriend are both chemists 🙂

Tough question! I think my fav scientist would have to be Martin Aitken, who was one of the founders of archaeometry and invented the 1st magnetometer; the machine used to measure variations in the Earth’s magnetic field and allows you see what is under the ground without excavating. (It’s the machine they use on time-team to see where the walls of a building would have been so they know where to dig).

What do we have in common?…hmmm…He pioneered the use of new technology in the field and I am trying to promote the use of the latest techniques and how they can be used in the field.

All the TV science dudes. I guess we all share a great enthusiasm for our work.
