Because it can help us in all aspects of out lives. People now are expected to live about 70 to 80 years, this is increasing all the time and we can expect this to be much longer in the future. This is all due to science, we understand disease, diet and what we need to have longer happier lives. People have walked on the moon and one day will walk on Mars and in the future live away from earth. All these things are due to science not to mention the food we eat and the computer you used to write this question with. There is no part of modern life that isn’t touched by science. But also because science is interesting!

science is important because it helps us understand the world around us and improve our lives and that of others, especially ill people, people without enough food etc. Science is also a great thing to learn about because it keeps you curious and excited about the world around you 🙂

Science is important because it helps us to understand the world around us. We can learn the how and why of things. The more we learn, the more we can make sensible and informed decisions and help to develop cures and invent new things, and hopefully avoid making the same mistakes as we did in the past.
